WBD Loan Officers are supported by top notch underwriting, closing and servicing teams that know how to get things done. Under general supervision, loan officers originate SBA 504 loans; establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, economic development groups, centers of influence (i.e., Attorneys, CPA’s) and small business owners to generate WBD product sales. Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field is required.
- 2 or more years of commercial lending and relationship management experience required.
- 4 or more years of credit underwriting experience preferred. Sound understanding of credit underwriting practices required.
- Effective customer service, project management, and business development experience required.
- Experience with SBA loan programs required.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of SBA 504 program
- Ability to absorb, interpret, apply, and communicate technically written material such as SOPs, promissory notes, loan documents, etc.
- Business acumen - ability to problem solve effectively and manage expectations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial/business analysis
- Excellent time management skills (handle multiple priorities simultaneously).

Another position we're hiring for is a full-time Credit Analyst in our Eau Claire office, to play a crucial role in supporting small businesses by providing essential financial analysis and underwriting services.
As a Credit Analyst, you’ll provide analysis and underwriting for small business loans for WBD, Inc. You’ll collaborate with WBD loan officers to analyze business information and prepare credit presentations for the evaluation of financing decisions and submission of applications to the SBA. As needed and trained, you may assist with loan closing and perform other loan services for small businesses and banks.
Regardless of your experience level, WBD is interested in candidates with:
· Solid analytical skills to evaluate financial data.
· Effective, positive interaction and collaborative skills to work with team members.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
· Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
· Proficiency in MS Office and Excel spreadsheets.
· Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
· Bachelor's Degree in a business field, such as finance or accounting, is required. Experience and knowledge of banking laws, regulations, policies, and practices are a plus and may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Another opportunity we have in our Madison office is a part-time Credit Analyst Intern, with the possibility for full-time employment at the end of the internship.
As a Credit Analyst Intern, you’ll learn to provide analysis and underwriting for small business loans for WBD, Inc. You’ll train with WBD senior credit analysts, the credit manager, and loan officers to analyze business information and prepare credit presentations for the evaluation of financing decisions and submission of applications to the SBA.
In addition to regular applications, WBD is accepting applications from college juniors and seniors completing a degree in business, finance, or a related field with accounting preferred. Regardless of your experience level, WBD is interested in candidates with:
