WBD proudly supports Milwaukee Tech in their effort to address the city's startup funding deficit. Milwaukee Tech is a non-profit membership organization that serves as a unifying voice for their area's ecosystem, where tech and innovation create prosperity and lift changing jobs.
Milwaukee Tech offers many opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups, offering resources to support initial concepts and beyond, including access to business funding. One of these opportunities is the Incubator, a 10-week, biannual industry-agnostic program that helps entrepreneurs get connected into Milwaukee's tech ecosystem.
The Incubator is held twice a year, dedicated to guiding startups from concept to financial backing across various industries. Central to its mission are Financial Awards, which provide crucial funding of up to $10,000 to fill early-stage financial gaps.
In 2023 and beyond, the Incubator is set to reach new heights with significant support from WBD. Through WBD Opportunity Funds, $50,000 was allocated to empower Milwaukee Tech's Incubator program. This funding injection fueled a transformative 6-month AI/data community pilot project, promising to push the boundaries of innovation within our ecosystem.
WBD is proud to stand behind Milwaukee Tech's cohort of innovators, anticipating the impactful developments that will emerge from the AI pilot project. This partnership underscores WBD's commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial endeavors and driving forward-thinking solutions in technology and beyond.
